Terms of Use
Codic — gocodic.com · Last updated: 20 Jun 2021
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Codic governing your use of our iOS applications (the "Apps"). By downloading or using an App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Standard EULA, which is incorporated by reference. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the stricter applies.
2. Subscriptions & billing
- Some features require an auto-renewing subscription. Pricing and trial length are shown in the App before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it for unlawful purposes.
4. Your content
Content you create stays on your device (and your own iCloud, if enabled). You are responsible for your content and for maintaining your own backups. We have no access to it and are not responsible for loss of on-device data; use the App's export/backup features to protect important data.
5. Disclaimers
The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. Informational features (e.g., predictions, identifications, valuations, measurements, transcriptions) may be inaccurate and are not professional, medical, financial, or legal advice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codic is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the "Last updated" date above.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
